FALL FOR THE WEEKEND

The weekend is what I live for! I'm usually working on amazing content for you beautiful people but when I stop being a granny and live life this is what it look likes! Sometimes I forget my age! Time to dress it like this fall! Here are some of my favorite Fall Weekend Looks! Take a peek in my wardrobe!

♡FRIDAY♡

Friday's look is very calm, chic but with a split of sass! Playing around with work week colors and trends but adding some flava! Do you see that split! What about the lace! These split lace trousers  from Tobi.com are so chic! Super comfy and so perfect for fall! I paired it with this white mesh long sleeve top. Keeping me warm and super cute! I love these pieces together! The part is the ability to have sex appeal with clothes on and nearly formal business attire.

♡SATURDAY♡

This has to be now of my favorite looks! Saturday's look is all about day time velvets! It is super easy to mix night time fabrics in day time light. Playing with light and dark colors are the best way. Playing with fabrics and colors makes daring cool look! I paired this super cool navy velvet strap dress from Tobi.com which fit like a glove with my lavender oversized jacket from Forever21. I mute the look with some suede strap nude heels for the confront!

♡GIRLS NIGHT OUT ♡

OK I lied! This one is my favorite! This color is perfect for fall. This split it perfect for a girls night! Need I go on? On my dark skin this little number serves so much justice. Wear this look out to dinner, out on the town or date night and watch the eyes twirl when you walk in the room! Cover me in velvet and watch me slay! Tobi.com is killing it with these pieces! Sunday calls for chill vibes! Tobi's Look back Lace Up Sweater is perfect for those chill fun days. Sundays I usually spend the day with family. As the oldest in my family that means I am head babysitter so here is my chic babysitter family day look! A split skirt to show my age and sass with a bomber with sneakers.

SIMPLY STYLIST EVENT

This weekend I went to the NYC SIMPLY STYLIST EVENT! This was my time attending this event! The event was for Bloggers by Bloggers. So of course I went with my girls, Jasmine Rose, Bronze Goddess and Ms.Nerdy Chica. 

It was amazing to learn about how to be a better blogger. How to network and how to build your brand. There was so many incredible bloggers there to learn from through panel discussions and Q&A's! I'll quickly share with you some of the great tips I learned.

How do I get my  Blog to become more popular, when first starting out?

Put yourself out there. It is as easy as that, you can want people to believe in your brand if you are too scared to believe in it yourself! Put your work out there and share it on every platform out there the more people see it, the more people will like it!

How do I get in contact with brands to collaborate with?

f they aren't coming to you, then you got to them. Nothing is going to be handed to you. Try sending 10 emails a week, 2 emails a day to companies to begin forming relationships and possible brand deals. Simple communication is key

I want to be  a Fashion Blogger but how do I get started?

You get started by Validating yourself. If you want to be a fashion blogger, find your niche and validate yourself through your post on your blogs and Instagram pictures. Make sure someone can find your page and know exactly what your blog and page is about through your work!

I learned so much at this event but most importantly I learned to do what you love! Stop doubting yourself and do what scares you. I was nervous to attend because I felt that I wouldn't fit in because I do not see my blog as being very popular or successful. Today I realized if Idont believe in my dreams who will. And if that is my goal then until I make it there I GOTTA FAKE IT TILL I MAKE IT!

This cropped turtle neck bell sleeved sweater was everything! Kept me super warm but GIRL was it chic! Making it super easy to style with these black high waisted trousers with splits. Finishing the look with some lace up blog heels for the ultimate cozy chic look!

ROSE QUARTS

Charing my crystals in this indian summer. Rose Quarts is the love Crystal and rightfully so, man it is beautiful! Summer has been playing peekaboo this october! (NO COMPLAINTS) Time to re-charge my new beauties. 

I was gifted this beauty from Nirvana Wild. An amazing hand made jewelry brand that is uniquely Afrocentric and uses crystals to create outstanding pieces. This is my newest peiece "Rose Quarts" known as the love crystal. When I wear it, I feel an incredible aura of self love!  

I styles my new pieces with a black and white Indian summer outfit. A cool and crisp button up paired with faux leather shorts,matching jacket and knee highs because your girl is not trying to catch a cold. The outfit is pretty basic with white and black monochrome tones but this pastel pink crystal chocker instantly added a whole new vibe!

HOW TO STYLE STRIPES

Spring is here in full effect! I am more than excited to get into the swing of things. One of the trends for this year is stripes! And rightfully so, they are bold, chic but sometimes tricky to style! I collect stripes they are such an easy way to look put together! 

One of the easiest ways to style stripes is a highly structured top. This H&M top is an oldie but goody. I've had it for 2 years but it's wide neck line, 70's inspired bell sleeves and box cropped nature keeps it trendy! Its pretty much a amazing on its own so pairing it with a long midi and my favorite white and blog lace ups keep it simple and chic!

Sometimes you have to GO BIG or GO HOME! You can make a statement with wearing stripes where people least expect it! These tourers are amazing! Can you believe I got them on sale for $7 ! The lord was looking out for me on that shopping trip! They are super comfy but very stylish. The wide legs give it a fun hippie vibe! Which I am all about and more!

To easily keep the hippie " I didn't really try (But I really did) " vibe try styling your stripes pants with a low cut top with a funky bag and colorful crystals! The low cut shirt helps you show a little skin while your covered up at the bottom and the bag adds a nice funky touch! Plus we all now hippies are all about their crystals! Right? Or is it just me!

If you are looking for a more wearable day to night option. This asymmetrical little guy is everything you need. Stripes can create illusions that no other can create! Giving you that hour glass shape we all do hours of cardio for. The mix of vertical and 45 degree stripes gives such a amazing shape.  

This magical skirt did all the work! To keep the curves going strong and to balance out the amount of skin shown, I appeared it with one of my new favorite turtle necks! The accented sleeves are the perfect touch to such a simple and chic look! This look also needs some movement, so a blush blazer with a complementing hem is just a match made in heaven!

A little shy of big bold stripes? Then fine stripes are the way to go! This crop top is so basic but easy to style when paired with chill and everyday items! I love wearing fine stripes with Mom Jeans to keep that 90's flare! This is something I would wear to hang out with friends. Super cute, funky and comfy !

Finish off the look with a leather jacket to help show off the crop top and some black booties to add in a little height as well as help with that back in the day 90's flow! Lets face it leather, stripes, and Demin just go together !

 The trees are changing & equally so is my wardrobe. It's easy to jump straight into thick scarfs and sweaters to run from the cold once we feel a little breeze! Not this fall! I'm wearing all my favorite pieces while I still have the chance! 

Its not quite time to hang up your skirts just yet! Just bust them out in a new way. This summer skirts with high gladiator splits were all the rage. Now that times are getting cooler just drop the split to knee length to keep the peek-a-boo effect all while keeping it low enough to retain heat for those windy days. I styled this skirt with a camel long sleeve top, and chunky platforms to give me some length!

Leather jackets and brown tones go hand & hand this season! And when you mix them together it creates something beautiful! I saw this faux leather brown pencil skirt and snatched off the rack! The way it melts into my skin all most makes me feel like I'm going nude. I regret nothing !

A knit halter tank and faux leather choker with a chocolate brown lip really puts the icing on the Chocolate cake! ....See what I did there :)

90's Grunge I have to say is one of my favorite looks this fall. You could dress it up with a Denim skirt or down with jeans but I decided to do neither! Team NO PANTS! It doesn't take much to pull off this look. Play with different washes of Denim & pair it with dark lips & velvet!

To keep the attention on my Denim attire & for a bit a warmth I paired the look with knee highs!

For my last look I brightened up fall with cooler tones and summer icon pieces with a new autumn touch! Hats are the perfect way to add a pop of color to any look because they come in so many colors and frames.

I refuse to give up halter top tanks! I loved them in the summer and will continue to bust them out this season as well! The cozy knit material gives it a warmer more comfortable feel while the knit cardigan gives gives me extra chic warmth!

These suede cut out boots create the perfect contrast, single handedly bringing this look full circle! They are super comfortable and the best part is I get to show off some ankle!

CURL FEST

This weekend I attended Curlfest in Brooklyn! Super excited to go being that I didn't have the chance to go last year! Curl fest is a Natural hair festival where waves, kinks and curls are celebrated! This year so many of my favorite Vloggers attended! It took place in the middle of Prospect park with 86 degrees of sun shining down on us! I wanted to be cute, cool and comfy!

I originally wanted to wear shorts and realized, I had none. ( Puts that down on fall shopping list) I am a little sweat monkey and didn't want to be shinning all day long, so I went for a halter top to keep cool! With it's vibrant olive & lime green colors it creates a relaxed but comfy vaca look! Plus I didn't have to wear a Bra!

STYLE STAPLE COLORS FOR SUMMER

You can never go wrong playing with color in summer, but too much could be painful and too little could be a bit depressing! When it comes to summer I need my pieces to be bright and eye popping! Every summer I look for those eye popping color shocking statement pieces & I think I found it along with a few other pieces that will always keep my outfits bright and exciting!

This bad boy I've had for a year now and fell in love with it all over again this summer! This tote is so bright and so big it pops any outfit while holding my life at the same time! Try looking for a bag that can fix too problems at once. Big enough to hold everything we bring alone with us on our summer adventures but bright enough to steal the show!

During my adventures in London I bumped into these babies and ran to the register! I love these for summer because it is so eye popping the color is beautiful! It has  a very small block heel making it super easy to handle for those long summer walks! My mother and I went on a 2 mile walk with these bad boys and I didn't complain one bit!

Being that I had to transition  this look from day to night for my mother's birthday dinner, I swapped out my blue Zara bag for a red one. Red is another popping color because its so daring! A Red lip is always great but Red accessories do more damage!

SUMMER FAVS HAUL

What do you get when you mix a Look Book and a Collective Haul together? A Haul Book! I recently posted a Haul book on my Youtube channel "LiveNaturallyLove", but I wanted to share more in depth the pieces I found this summer that I am just in love with. This summer I turned into the impulsive shopper. For the whole month of  June I went shopping at least 3 times a week and impulsively bought whatever caught my eye on matter the size,price, or color! It felt great to treat myself and buy whatever makes me happy and feel confident! Here are some of my absolute favorite pieces!

 This River Island Black Knitted Halter top was the first one to come home at only£12 it worked well with simple distressed mom jeans! I love the security of not having to wear a bra due to the fabric and the option to transition this into Fall! 

Lets talk about this bundle of Joy! Found this on the sales rack in River island as well for the same price as my first purchase! I took the smallest size and ran to the register ! I love the way this top is so versatile! I can pair it with a skirt and create a two-piece dress or just wear it alone! The possibilities are endless!

I love it when I find a good sale! This bad boy was only $15 in Soho,NYC! This lace long sleeved romper is exactly what I needed for those late summer night when I'm looking for a night out on the town but don't want be catch a cold when it gets breezy! And then these shoes! They were definitely an impulsive buy! But could you blame me! The white bottoms and platform top was just I needed! Super comfortable and Chic!

LIV IN PARIS

The city of love is what they call it and I now know why! Paris is beautiful! I have fallen deeply in love with it and myself during my time here! Today was amazing we traveled all over London visiting all of the iconic landmarks of The Great Britain! We went out to eat in the city and then went shopping on Oxford Street! And I went to Primark, which is the BOMB.com! I walked in there and nearly lost my mind! Afterwards we got lost looking for the tube (train) and we found an old telephone & You know I had to take a picture in it. Being that we were going to be walking all over the city I wanted to be comfortable! Here are the details!

On May 28th after four years of hard work I finally turned my tassel to the other side and graduated The City College of New York! I wanted to be beautiful on my special day and diced nothing but an all white outfit will represent the feeling of accomplishment. I wanted something that will make me stand out from the other graduates but in the most respectable way. This jumper had me feeling amazing! I have been working out for so long and to slide into my outfits is feels great! Can you believe this was only $27.00 ! This weekend was the last flake! The last touch of snow! It’s spring but it’s still sweater weather! I loved the fuzzy sweater trend in winter and brought it over into spring with baby pink! Fuzzy enough to keep me warm in this spring sweater weather but bright enough to encourage winter to go away! To bloom into spring brighten your lips, nails and accessories! NYX’s “Butter gloss” in Vanilla Crème Pie is such a fun transition from vampy MAC’s “Cyber”. Play with fun head scarfs, and nail polishes to get into the groove! Essie’s “Play date” is a favorite! If that doesn’t work then I don’t know what will!
