The short week before the holidays are always hectic, with no time to wash my matted tangled hair I finally gave the Q-REDEW a try! The Q-REDEW is a hand held steamer for natural hair used to deep condition, detangle, re style, re shape, moisturize and hydrate! It is fully multi-purpose for natural hair which is AWESOME! I used it to re style and moisturize my hair because wash day had to wait!
I found it very easy to use. To get started remove the Q-Redew reservoir and fill with distilled water while its not plugged in of course. Then snap it back in, plug it up, and wait for the red light to stop blinking, once the light is fully red you are ready to go! Super easy.
To get started on my hair I separated my hair into 4 sections per usual. Then taking a small to medium size section working from in the back, it was time to put my new baby to work. One you lick the little green trigger, the Q-Redew lets out super warm steam through the combs! It was pretty cool. The steam so warm and hydrating once it reached my dry hair it immediately softened it right up. Making sure to apply it to the ends holding the steamer about 3 inches away from the hair before working my way all the way up to my roots ( that is where I have the most knots) Once finish applying the steam I quickly used Black Jamaican Castor Oil to seal in all of the moisture!
My hair was so SOFT as if I just washed it. Nothing like that dry mess I had a few moments ago. Castor oil is great for finger detangling, once hydrated and detangled its time to style! I returned to an oldie but goodie, using my DIY Homemade Shea Butter Cream to further seal and smooth. Following up with my DIY Eco Aloe Vera Mix another oldie only my Day 1 subbies will remember for definition. Braided up the section and moved on.
The Q-Redew is one of my new staple hair tools! This bad boy not only hydrated my hair it stretched it out too! My matted sections basically turned into a blow out as I passed the Q-Redew through it. You can tell by elongated my 10 braids were by the end. That has to be my favorite part!
Thanksgiving morning I took my hair down and va va voom! Look at that stretch, definition and all of that hydration! I also noticed my hair was CRAZY SOFT! Like Baby soft! Like Whoa!
This product is bomb! This braid out lasted 3 days and my hair was soft for 4! I didn't have to re do my hair until yesterday! My hair was full of length and so much body! I give this product a 5 of of 5 ♡!
